The government will make public the second part of the EU Accession Questionnaire required by the European Commission on granting the EU candidate status to Georgia today.
Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili said during the European Integration Governmental Commission sitting that the sectoral part of the document includes approximately 2 300 questions.
“All governmental institutions coordinate over the document,” Darchiashvili said.
The FM added that the timeframe for filling in the second part of the questionnaire is May 13.
Georgia will submit the filled-in Opinion part of the questionnaire for granting the EU candidate status to Georgia to the European Commission on Monday, May 2.
Oliver Varhelyi, the European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, handed over the EU membership questionnaire to the Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili in Luxembourg on April 11.
