According to US Ambassador Kelly Degnan, now is the time for all parties in Georgia, both the ruling and the opposition, to unite and work together against Russian aggression, aggressive disinformation and attempts to disrupt Georgia's economic and Atlantic integration. The US Ambassador to Georgia stated about it at the event organized by the Economic Policy Research Center (EPRC).

According to her, Russia poses a threat to Georgia as well as Ukraine, as it continues to occupy 20 percent of the country's territory.

Degnan said that much remains to be done to achieve the goal and that Georgia, which is preparing for EU and NATO membership, must continue to build on its democratic achievements.
