The chair of the ruling Georgian Dream party, Irakli Kobakhidze has said that President Salome Zurabishvili supports a revolution.
According to him, the Georgian Dream party wants peace.
"Salome Zurabishvili has already announced that she is a supporter of a revolution. All those, who protest against the Law on Assemblies and Demonstrations are directly admitting that they want a revolution in Georgia. We want peace. Georgian society and the government want peace and, of course, we will do everything to ensure peace, and this draft law is related to this goal," Kobakhidze told reporters on Thursday.
On October 17 President Salome Zurabishvili vetoed the amendments to the Law on Assemblies and Demonstrations.
