"The fact is, there should be no question marks, which do exist today, and we should do everything we can for the truth to be established", - said the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Kakha Kuchava.

According to him, no one will escape justice.

“This is unfortunate and tragic development of the events that began on 5 July, and which have no justification. We have already mentioned it and I will repeat it again, unfortunately, we will have to repeat the black spot which will remain in our history as 5 July, many more times. What we saw - violence against journalists, cameramen, people who were doing their job, and against whom group violence was conducted. We live in the 21st century, everything is depicted in cameras, and no one can escape justice. Their full identification and strict punishment are necessary to be carried out so that such a thing never even crosses anyone’s mind for a second time. It does not matter who represents which side, clergy and laymen - everyone is equal. Unfortunately, we heard even the encouragements for violence that cannot be left without reaction and for that, not only an open investigation conducted by the investigative bodies, is very important, but the maximum must be also done by the Parliament. We all, here, have full leverage to take this to the end,” said Kakha Kuchava.
