“We will announce mass mobilization tomorrow morning. I will not allow Ivanishvili to steal the choice of the Georgian people. Stand firm, we will push to the end, we will defend our right to win to the end,” Former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili told Mtavari Arkhi TV.
According to him, “as soon as it got dark and the public relaxed, the ruling team began falsifying the election results”:
"I see very well what is happening. As soon as it got dark, as soon as a part the public relaxed and turned off the TVs, Ivanishvili began mass falsifying the election results. Ivanishvili has lost this election. Earlier, he falsified exit poll results, but what is happening now is the gravest violation. It is even more primitive falsification thanLukashenko regime and the countries with similar regimes. I would like to call on all our activists, our representatives in all polling stations, to stand firm to the end. We will announce mass mobilization tomorrow morning. I will not allow Ivanishvili to steal the choice of the Georgian people.”
He called on the opposition parties to unite.
"I want to call on all other opposition forces, friends, I understand that everyone is not satisfied with their election results. Now is not the time to compete, the vote of each of you should be defended. Now we all stand together and form a government of national unity, we all stand together and put aside Ivanishvili and this gang, or we lose the country and cease to exist.
We will become ordinary Belarus, the Russian Federation, some Central Asian dictatorship, or we will become a free country where citizens will change government freely, where will be freedom of expression. Stand firm, we will fight to the end and we will defend to the end the truth of our people, our right of freedom and victory. The Georgian people have the right to win, they have gained this victory,” Saakasvili added.
