“Normalizing the regime by legitimizing the elections it has scheduled is wrong and harmful to national interests,” wrote Tamar Chergoleishvili, leader of the Federalists, on social media.

According to her, the Federalists will target not only the regime but also those who collaborate with it.

“On behalf of the Federalists, we declare that as part of our campaign of non-recognition, our targets will include both the regime and its collaborators. We refuse to insult our voters’ intelligence. Legitimizing these elections means normalizing the regime — and that is both wrong and damaging to the country. Whatever harms us becomes our target,” Chergoleishvili states.
