
Migration Department expels 25 foreign citizens from Georgia

In close coordination with the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and relevant units of the Ministry, within the framework of complex measures carried out in recent days, 25 foreign citizens were expelled from Georgia. the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia reports.
“A total of 25 citizens of Armenia, Uzbekistan, Iran, Nigeria, Tajikistan, China, Turkmenistan, Russia, India, Algeria, Egypt, Turkey, Pakistan and Bangladesh were expelled from Georgia. In accordance with the current legislation, the expelled persons were banned from entering the country.
The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia is the body responsible for combating illegal migration within the country. One of its competencies is to identify foreign citizens who are in Georgia without legal grounds and to carry out their expulsion from Georgia,” reads the information.
